I don't know if I want to go to the Ball. Is it strange to go without a date? I don't know any girls to invite, and I don't have a costume.
I do know how to dance, though! So that's something, I suppose. |

Is someone missing their rat? I found a white and brown rat in the common room, just wandering around. I took her up to my room for safekeeping, but if she's yours let me know.
Um, and not to tell you what to do but if it's your rat, you should be more careful. There are lots of familiars who are predatory, and I wouldn't want what happened to my Miho to happen to anyone else's pet. |

I still haven't seen Miho. He's been missing now since Monday, he never goes away for this long! Ever since I woke up this morning, I have these images if his chewed, mangled body running through my head, and I can't make them go away. It's horrible, and I already lost us ten points in Charms for not paying attention in class. I can't focus, though, when I can't get thoughts of Miho and what could have happened to him out of my head.

Did everyone have fun with the Hogwarts boys? It was so strange to have so many extra people in the castle. I met some of the younger boys, but no one my age, really.
I feel awfully silly telling everyone this, but I'm looking forward to watching Gossip Witch tonight! Its very exciting that we can watch it here at school now, I missed the premier even. |
